Knights can’t complete comeback in home playoff loss to Colony

Down by 14 to begin the fourth quarter, JoJo Walker’s three-pointer with about a minute left pulled St. Joseph within three at 63-60.

But Colony of Ontario hit their free throws down the stretch and beat the Knights 72-64 in a CIF division 2AA quarterfinal boys basketball playoff game in Orcutt.

Walker scored 20 of his 26 points in the second half for the Knights who end the year 24-6.

St. Joseph won the CIF division 5AA championship last year.
