Art Comes Alive! event helps Channel Islands Maritime Museum celebrate 26th anniversary

The Channel Islands Maritime Museum took a page from Night At the Museum over the weekend.

Actors portrayed figures from the museums collection.

Guests had a chance to ask them questions in an attempt to solve maritime mysteries.

The characters included a lady in a 1890 bathing suit who visitors could find in a painting in the lobby and a man with a pan who is shown jumping ship in the North Gallery.

Other characters included Lady Washington, Queen Anne, Queen Mary, a prisoner of war and a couple on a cruise.

The museum is located in a former restaurant overlooking the water in the Channel Islands Harbor on Bluefin Circle.
