Santa Barbara airport reopens after storms cause brief closure
The Santa Barbara Municipal Airport reopened to commercial and general aviation use Saturday morning.
The airport’s main air carrier and general aviation runways were closed overnight as crews attempted to clear mud and debris left in the wake of Friday’s storm.
All roads leading to the airport are open, but travelers are advised to use caution as standing water still remains in some intersection.
Passengers are encouraged to call their airline to check on the latest arrival and departure information.
