High winds snap, topple trees
A high wind warning is in effect throughout the day for areas in Santa Barbara County.
Reports of snapped and toppled-over trees popped up throughout the night. Photos from Santa Barbara to the “No-leta” area have been sent to our newsroom.
On Friday morning, a eucalyptus tree was blown over, crushing a Goleta apartment complex carport and damaging two vehicles underneath. No injuries were reported.
