Star Trek star speaks at Arlington Theatre in Santa Barbara
The marquee at the Arlington Theatre had George Takai’s name in lights on Wednesday night.
The Star Trek star gave a talk entitled, “Where no story has gone before.”
It was part of the UCSB Arts & Lecture series.
Takei did not allow video cameras inside.
The actor and activist likes to share his thoughts publicly on social media.
Takei has more than 13 million Twitter, Facebook and Instagram followers.
