Ventura County firefighters assist stranded family in flooded intersection

Firefighters from Ventura County Fire Department assisted a family who were stranded in a flooded intersection in Camarillo Sunday afternoon.

Ventura County Fire Department Public Information Officer tweeted a photo showing a fire official carrying a child out of the flooded intersection.

#vcfd Firefighters from station 50 assisted 4 children with mom and dad who got stranded in a flooded intersection on Pleasant Vly Rd.

— VCFD PIO (@VCFD_PIO) January 22, 2017 The family of six was stranded on Pleasant Valley Road. Streets and avenues all along the California coast have experienced intermittent flooding as rain continues to pour through the weekend.
