Suspect wanted in connection to Camarillo burglary

Camarillo police and the Ventura County Sheriff’s Office is asking for the public’s help in identifying a suspect who was caught on security camera breaking into a Camarillo residence two weeks ago.

Security footage shows the female suspect entering a residence on the 1700 block of Summerfield Street in Camarillo through a sliding glass door on Thursday, January 5.

The woman is seen entering the residence with a backpack and exiting the residence through a gate on the side of the property. The suspect reportedly stole numerous items from the home.

The suspect is described as a female, 20 to 30 years old, 5-foot and 8-inches, and weighing between 150 and 175 pounds. She is light-skinned with brown hair. She was wearing a camouflage colored backpack with white straps, a gray long sleeve shirt with white writing over her chest, black yoga pants and cream colored “Uggs” style boots.
