FLASH FLOOD WARNING for Solimar Burn area has been activated

The National Weather Service is issuing a flash flood warning for Ventura County including the Solimar and Pines burn areas, as well as Highway 33 Corridor.

At 10:30 radar indicated very heavy rain with rainfall rates in excess of one inch per hour across the coastal slopes and adjacent valleys of Ventura County.

Locations that will experience flooding include: Simi Valley, Fillmore, Ojai, Santa Paula, Rose Valley, Moorpark, La Conchita, Rincon Point, Lake Piru, Lake Casitas, Highway 33 as well as the Solimar and Pines burn areas.
