Domino effect causes flooding into Pismo Beach Hotel
A domino effect of sorts on Shell Beach Road in Pismo Beach has caused the flooding of an area hotel.
Caltrans officials tell us that while trying to clear out mud and debris from the northbound lanes through a culvert, the culvert became clogged causing the debris to wash into the southbound lanes and into the SeaCreast Oceanfront Hotel.
The amount of damage done to the hotel and it’s parking lots is unknown at this time.
