SBHS create official Dons Athletics Hall of Fame

Since 1974 Santa Barbara High School athletic teams and athletes were honored by a group of former Dons called the Ye Ole Gang.

But now an official Dons Athletics Hall of Fame is being launched and it will start with a bang.

Former NFL star Randall Cunningham, former MLB player Ryan Spilborghs, Dons tennis great Alison Hardey along with community leaders Peter and Gerd Jordano make up the 2017 inductees.

They will all be in attendance on Thursday January 26 at the Dons Hall of Fame Dinner . The event takes place at the Cabrillo Arts Pavilion in Santa Barbara.

All of the Dons that have been honored by the Ye Ole Gang will also be recognized during the event.
