Cal Poly’s Leaupepe twins double trouble for UCSB

The Leaupepe twins were terrific as Cal Poly won their Big West opener in women’s basketball 78-67 over UCSB.

Dynn Leaupepe scored a game-high 29 points while twin sister Lynn Leaupepe poured in 26 as the Mustangs outscored the Gauchos 49-32 in the second half.

Coco Miller had a team-high 23 points for UCSB as she made 7-of-13 from three-point distance.

Cal Poly is now 5-8 on the season while UCSB is 5-9.
