Camarillo man dies from stab wounds

Ventura County Sheriff’s Major Crimes Bureau is investigating a deadly stabbing that happened early Christmas morning.

Sheriff officials said at 12:27 a.m. on Sunday, 23-year-old Bronson Boyett was found stabbed in the 2600 block of Munson Street, city of Camarillo.

Boyett died from his injuries at Los Robles Regional Medical Center in Thousand Oaks. Initial investigation revealed there was a physical altercation between two groups of people.

Somewhere during the fight that is when Boyett was stabbed. Officials are calling this a homicide.

Lead detective on the case said no arrest have been made but all individuals that may have been involved in the fight have been located.

Two juveniles and three other adults are believed to be involved in this altercation.

Investigators ask if anyone who may have heard, seen, or has knowledge of this incident is encouraged to call the Ventura County Sheriff’s Office, Major Crimes Bureau.

Ventura County Crime Stoppers will pay up to $1,000 reward for information, which leads to the arrest and criminal complaint against the person(s) responsible for this crime.
