Search warrants lead to arrest of two suspects in Santa Maria
Two suspects were arrested Wednesday after sheriff’s personnel served a conducted a parole search at a residence in the 300 block of East Monroe Street in Santa Maria.
During the search, investigators contacted and detained several subjects at the residence. Investigators found two loaded shotguns (including an illegal sawed-off shotgun), ammunition for various firearms, 11 grams of methamphetamine, less than a gram of heroin and evidence of narcotic sales.
Dustin Kinsey, 38, of Santa Maria was arrested and booked at the Santa Barbara County Jail on possible charges of possession of methamphetamine for sale with a firearm, possession of methamphetamine for sale, being a felon in possession of a firearm and a being a felon in possession of ammunition.
Callie Jones. 35, of Santa Maria was arrested and booked at the Santa Barbara County Jail on suspicion of being a felon in possession of ammunition.
A third suspect was identified as Christopher Jones, 30, a resident of the home who was not present at the time of the search. A warrant has been issued for his arrest for being a felon in possession of a firearm, felon in possession of ammunition, possession of methamphetamine for sale, possession of methamphetamine for sale with a firearm and possession of a sawed-off shotgun.
Jones should be considered armed and dangerous.
