Man seen on camera giving woman true meaning of Christmas

A generous Christmas gift caught on a supermarket camera. A gift a Santa Maria woman says has renewed her faith in humanity.

In seven short seconds, caught on that supermarket video, a generous man hands over a gift card to a stunned Anna Guizar.

“I just began a conversation with him, started with, what a great price on the prime rib,” Guizar said.

The man agreed saying this store had the best prices in town.

“I told him yea it’s wonderful, you know it’s a little outside my budget, but.. it’s Christmas,” Guizar said.

What happened next, Guizar never saw coming.

“As he started to walk away, he turned around.. and he handed me this,” Guizar said.

Caught off guard, she accepted the gift, went home, called the number on the card and found out it was worth $50.

“Needless to say, the emotion that overcame me.. of the gratitude,” Guizar said.

Guizar says this man was kind of like an angel. She’s so grateful he showed her the true meaning of Christmas.

“You never ask God for money, you just ask him to give you the strength to get through these tough times,” Guizar said.
