Christmas shipping rush begins at local post office
It is 5 days before Christmas and the holiday rush at local U.S. Postal Service offices are just beginning.
People are sending packages and holiday cards to their friends and loved ones. Tuesday was the deadline for first class shipping for packages to be delivered by Christmas Eve.
USPS projects it will send about 16 billion pieces this Christmas season. It added seasonal employees to help with the busy week.
