Close returns to UCSB’s Thunderdome as UCLA faces Gauchos

For the first time in over ten years, Cori Close is back at UCSB’s Thunderdome.

Close is the head coach of the ninth-ranked UCLA Bruins and they go up against 2-6 UCSB at 7pm on Wednesday.

Close was a star point guard for the Gauchos in the early 1990’s and was the Gauchos top assistant coach when the program was at its best. From 1995-2004, Close helped UCSB win the Big West each season.

We’ll have highlights on KKFX 11 during our 10pm news as well as at 11 on KEYT NewsChannel 3.
