30th annual Unity Telethon brings people together for worthy cause
The 30th annual Unity Telethon out of Santa Barbara brought people together Saturday evening for a worthy cause.
From 4 p.m. to 8 p.m., the telethon raised money for clothing and toys for Unity Shoppe clients. The event was broadcasted on KEYT Channel 3 and live streamed on our website.
The program also had many big musical talent on display including Kenny Loggins, who performed some of his hits like “Footloose,” inside a packed Granada Theater.
During the program, sponsors had a chance to present the checks showing the amount of money they had raised and donated.
It’s a prime example of what’s right in our community.
