Two more inmates missing from Lompoc prison camp

The hunt is on for two Lompoc Federal Prison inmates who walked off the minimum security satellite prison camp.

Jose Alberto Guzman and Emilio Alonzo-Plata were discovered missing at 10 p.m. Saturday night during a routine check on all of the inmates. Guzman is 5’6″, 120 pounds, with brown eyes and black hair. Alonzo-Plata is 5’5″, 160 pounds, with brown eyes and black hair. He also has several face tattoos. The pair were both serving time for drug related offenses.

This is the third incident involving four prisoners who have walked away since September.

Vicente Ramirez walked away from the prison camp on September 26, and has still not been found.

On November 26, inmate Hector Medina did the same.

The satellite prison camp houses 465 minimum security inmates, but has no barbed wire fence. It is surrounded by a wooden fence.
