Simi Valley Amber Alert suspect and victim located

The Simi Valley Police Department issued a statement that Anthony Giarraputo and 4-year-old Jayden (Jaden) Giarraputo, have been located as of 8:20 p.m.

An Amber Alert has just been issued out of Simi Valley. Authorities are looking for a 2015 Blue KIA Soul with a California license plate No.7JEX347
Simi Valley police say the suspect is 31-year-old Anthony “Tony” Giarraputo. He’s described as a white male about 5 feet 9 inches tall, 220 pounds. He was last seen wearing grey shorts with no shirt.
Giarraputo is suspected of abducting his son, 4-year-old Jayden Giarraputo, following a domestic dispute in the Wood Ranch area of Simi Valley, in which the child’s mother was assaulted, according to police.
Authorities say Giarraputo allegedly made statements that he would harm himself just before taking off with Jaden in a 2015 KIA Soul with First KIA paper plates.
4-year-old Jaden is described as a white male, 3 feet tall, about 35 pounds, and was last seen wearing blue shorts and a grey t-shirt. Police say Jayden also had access to a blue long-sleeve shirt, and his hair is now shaved on the sides and longer on the top. He normally wears glasses.
Anyone with any information that could help police locate Giarraputo and/or his son, is urged to dial 911 or contact police, and, do not approach Giarraputo.
