After major health scare, Tommy Johnson is back to playing sports at Dos Pueblos HS

Tommy Johnson returned to Santa Barbara’s Cottage Hospital but this time it was all smiles and hugs.

Just last month the Dos Pueblos High School senior went into septic shock and was fighting for his life.

He was in the hospital for one week and lost 18 pounds.

But now he is well down the road to recovery and has even been cleared to play sports again at school.

We met up with Johnson and his family as they described the frantic days when Tommy underwent a major health scare.
