Gingerbread House is back at Four Points by Sheraton in Ventura Harbor

Gingerbread cookie fans will find one of the largest gingerbread houses around at a hotel in the Ventura Harbor.

The chef and bakers at the Four Points by Sheraton on Schooner Drive have been busy.

They used plenty of gingerbread, chocolate and candy for the house, and coconut and powdered sugar for the snow.

It was an annual event until last year when the lobby was being remodeled.

Guests and employees are excited to see it back.

“I think it is beautiful and creative. They have a good mix of things on here,” said desk clerk Debbie Adams.

She said the giant gingerbread house also makes the hotel smell good.
