Helicopter airlifted surfer to hospital on Sunday afternoon
Surfers noticed a surfer unconscious on his surfboard at Rincon Point after 3 p.m. on Sunday.
They pulled him to shore and called 911.
The Ventura County Aviation Unit landed a helicopter on the Southbound side of 101 freeway and air-lifted the surfer to Community Memorial Hospital in Ventura.
His condition has not been released.
