Suspects in Paso Robles shooting identified
Investigators have released the names of two suspects involved in a shooting that occurred late at night in Paso Robles.
One suspect is identified as Jaquan Jabriel Burns, 23, of Virginia. Burns was treated for a shooting wound in his lower leg and then booked into County Jail on a charge of attempted murder and outstanding warrants.
The other suspect has been identified as Karheem Graham-Luthhman, 23, also of Virginia. Graham-Luthman received medical care at Sierra Vista Regional Medical Center after suffering five gunshot wounds to his legs and arms.
Graham-Luthhman is still receiving medical care but was booked in absentia on an attempted murder charge. He falsely identified himself as Fred Allen Cooper III.
Detectives said they believe there was a gathering at the home on Whispering Oak Way when the two suspects showed up to the home uninvited.
When the victim opened the door there was a fight and an exchange of gunfire. The victim and the two suspects each received gunshot wounds.
Officers believe the suspects transported themselves to Sierra Vista Regional Medical Center for treatment.
Investigators said they do not believe the incident is gang related, but it appears to be drug related.

Sheriff’s Deputies responded to multiple gunshots in the 4100 block of Whispering Oak Way in Paso Robles late Wednesday night.
Upon arrival deputies said they located a man who had been shot, he was taken to the hospital. His condition is unknown. Two other male suspects are believed to have driven themselves to the hospital for gunshot wounds. Their condition is also unknown.
What deputies do know or at least believe is that this was an isolated incident and there is no danger to the public.
The investigation is ongoing, no other information is being released at this time.

San Luis Obispo County Sheriff’s deputies are on the scene of a shooting in rural Paso Robles near the Paso Robles Airport.
The Sheriff’s Department says It happened at about 9:00pm on Whispering Oak Way near Jardine Road.
At least one victim has been rushed to the hospital with multiple gunshot wounds.
No word yet on a suspect or suspects in the shooting or if there’s been an arrest.
