Drowsy driver flips car in Santa Barbara
A driver fell asleep behind the wheel Monday morning and flipped her SUV, according to the Santa Barbara Fire Department.
The accident happened just before 6:30 a.m. on West Carrillo Street near Miramonte Drive in Santa Barbara.
Authorities say the female drive was coming off a long shift and fell asleep. She did not suffer any serious injuries.
Santa Barbara Police and Fire departments were on the scene. Traffic is not being impacted.
