Rough shooting night for Gauchos in loss to USF
UCSB raced out to a 16-5 lead over the University of San Francisco but the good times didn’t last long.
The Dons tied the game by halftime at 33 and raced by the Gauchos with a 13-0 run in the second half to win 75-63 to drop UCSB to 0-2 on the year.
The Gauchos were led by Gabe Vincent’s 23 points but he and UCSB did not shoot the ball well. The Gauchos shot under 33 percent from the field and were just 7-for-30 from the three-point line.
The Gauchos play their first road game of the season on Saturday when they travel to face Bakersfield.
