A Nipomo father is searching for a woman, accused of stealing a package off of his front porch in the Monarch Dunes community.
The theft was caught on surveillance video. Kevin Beck says the package was a birthday present for his son.
He says they were wondering why they didn’t receive a package from Amazon on the scheduled date. When they looked at the closed circuit surveillance video they couldn’t believe what they found – video of the lady stealing the package in broad daylight.
Beck has since gone to Facebook and is hoping you recognize the lady in thumbnail picture on this story. Contact the San Luis Obispo County Sheriff’s Office if you have any information on who this woman is: (805) 781-4540.
The suspect’s vehicle is described as a white Volkswagen Passat wagon with black rims. There was no front license plate and windows were darkly tinted.
“She needs to fess up and turn herself in.. you know, it’s just Lego’s but it’s the principle of actually coming up on my property and taking it, so turn yourself in,” theft victim Kevin Beck said.
Neighbors can’t believe it.
(Breuer) I expect deliveries everyday including a new PC laptop today,” Neighbor Grace Breuer said.
“She’s just out there scamming people and taking their stuff,” Beck said.
The Sheriff’s office says unfortunately they see more and more of these types of incidents around this time of the year.
