Arlington Theatre big screen viewing party set for election night
The Santa Barbara Arlington Theatre will show the election night results on its big screen for seven hours Tuesday evening. The event is non-partisan and free.
The theater says it will carry the CNN broadcast.
In past elections, and inaugurations, the Metropolitan Theater Corporation has made the facility available for the public to see these historic events at no charge.
The Arlington will offer concessions and election-themed snacks, including pizza and popcorn. Adults can order special drinks in honor of the candidates; The Hillary (margaritas) or The Donald (screwdrivers).
If the race is close, the theatre doors will stay open until midnight.
