Sheriff notified of Fareed signs vandalized in Carpinteria area

Signs for Congressional candidate Justin Fareed were vandalized late this week in the Carpinteria Valley. The Sheriff’s department has been notified by the campaign and a private property owner off Via Real.

One letter was changed with a label or tape from an “E” to a “T” on large poster boards inside an avocado grove. A source with the campaign said other sites were hit too.

If suspects are caught they could face charges, including vandalism and trespassing.
