Montecito water main replacement project set to start in November

The Montecito Water District will be conducting a replacement project of the Hot Springs Road water main from East Valley Road north about 1,000 feet, beginning November 14.

This particular stretch of road has experience several water main breaks, and the Water District has made this replacement project a top priority.

Motorists are advised to avoid Hot Springs Road during construction by using alternate routes to and from East Mountain Drive.

Construction begins Monday, Nov. 14 with a completion date expected in mid-December. Work will occur Monday through Friday between 7:30 a.m. and 4 p.m., except for the Thanksgiving holiday on Nov. 24 and Nov. 25.
