Laguna Blanca sweeps into CIF quarterfinals in girls volleyball

Maddy Nicolson had 15 kills along with 23 digs while Caylin Zimmerman added 13 kills and 20 digs as Laguna Blanca advanced to the CIF Division 6 quarterfinals with a three-set home sweep over Pioneer of Whittier.

The Owls are now 22-1 on the year and will play at Hemet on Saturday.

Laguna Blanca won the CIF Division 4AA title last year and are the top-seed in the CIF Division 6 playoffs this season.
