Man arrested for exposing himself at Ventura school administrator
A man was arrested Wednesday after he exposed his genitals to a school administrator at Holy Cross School in Ventura.
At around 4:30 p.m. Wednesday, the female administrator called Ventura Police Department and said a man exposed his genitals to her while she was standing on a school playground.
According to a press release from the Ventura Police Department, the woman was supervising multiple children on the playground when she heard the suspect yelling at the children.
The woman instructed children to leave the playground while she confronted the suspect.
As she approached the suspect, he pulled down his pants and exposed his genitals and made obscene gestures at the woman.
The suspect then fled the area.
Officers found the suspect at a nearby park and detained him after a minor struggle.
The school administrator positively identified the man as the suspect who exposed himself.
The man was identified as Landon Rice, 35. Rice was arrested and booked into the Ventura County Jail.
Rice is currently on probation for possession of a controlled substance and officers said he has history of narcotics related arrests. He could face a possible charge for indecent exposure.
According to Ventura Police Department, no children were victimized.
