Final Debate Fails To Change Minds At Partisan Viewing Parties
While Baseball fans filled bars to cheer on opposing teams, voters cheered on their candidates at partisan parties.
Former Congressional candidate and actor Chris Mitchum attended a Tea Party event on the deck of The Endless Summer Bar Cafe.
“I think Trump is knocking it out of the park,” said Mitchum.
The owner of Endless Summer said the popular Santa Barbara harbor location welcomes people of all political persuasions.
Hillary Clinton photos decorated Jill’s Place. Clinton visited the Santa Barbara Street restaurant in early June.
Her supporters packed the restaurant on Wednesday night to wine, dine and watch.
Brittany Harter said she thought Hillary Clinton answered questions, while her opponent skirted around them.
Trump supporters disagree.
Bobbi McGinnis said she is proud to be a Trump Campaign Santa Barbara County Captain.
She was happy to see Trump defend himself.
” I think he has dispelled the whole notion that he’s a womanizer, ” said McGinnis.
The debate parties did not attract undecided voters.
David Atkins said he is voting for Hillary Clinton.
Atkins said he didn’t think there was enough time for Donald Trump to reverse his slide.
Trump supporters are confident the final debate will give him boost in the polls before election day.
