Woman charged with vehicular manslaughter in Lompoc fatal crash

Santa Barbara County District Attorney announced charges for a woman involved in a deadly crash near Lompoc.

32-year-old Spring Morrissey is charged with vehicular manslaughter while intoxicated. Morrissey was driving the car when she hit head-on 62-year-old Victoria Levinson,, The crash happened crashed on October 13th.

Both woman are from Santa Maria. Officials say Morrissey was driving intoxicated on the wrong side of Ocean Avenue west of Lompoc.

She faces a maximum sentence of ten years in prison if she is found guilty.

Morrissey’s bail is set at $150,000 and her continued arraignment is set for October 25 at the Lompoc Court Division of Santa Barbara County Superior Court.
