The Color Run Returns To Ventura
The Color Run filled the streets with runners wearing white shirts on Saturday.
Those white shirts transformed into bright shades of green and pink and other colors as runners — and a unicyclist — made their way along the 5 kilometer course in Ventura on Saturday.
Volunteers splashed the participants with a non-toxic mixture of cornstarch and dye.
Some of the proceeds from the entrance fees will go to the Julius Gius Memorial Rotary Foundation .
The foundation awards grants to a number of different community efforts.
