3.4 magnitude earthquake reported near Los Alamos

A 3.4 magnitude earthquake struck near Los Alamos just shortly after 8:20 p.m. Friday night.

Residents from Lompoc to Buellton reported feeling the shaking, although others said they did not feel any jolts.

One Los Alamos resident reported that they felt a quick jolt and all of her neighbors left their homes to check on the commotion.

A 2.1 magnitude aftershock reportedly struck a minute later.

So far no injuries have been reported.
