Sheriff’s office raids Orcutt home, seizes meth, guns
Two people were arrested and another two were cited Tuesday morning following a drugs and weapons bust in Orcutt.
Police found nearly a pound of methamphetamine inside the home, along with three different guns. Investigators also found three young children inside the home.
Joshua Honey, 33, and Raeleen Alford, 30, were both arrested. Honey could face possible drugs and weapons charges. Alford could face charges of child endangerment.
The Santa Barbara County Sheriff’s Office removed three children, ages 10, 5, and six months, during the raid.
Since those children could have been exposed to meth, they were all taken to the hospital to make sure they did not have any drugs in their systems.
They all checked out in perfect health.
Two others in the home were cited and released.
One may face charges for being under the influence of a controlled substance, while the other could face an addict in possession of a firearm charge.
