Vehicle rolls into bushes near Cliff Drive
Santa Barbara police and the Santa Barbara City Fire Department responded to a single-vehicle rollover accident near the area of Cliff Drive and Las Positas Road Monday night.
At about 9:15 p.m. a Mercury Mountaineer SUV rolled over on Cliff Drive and landed in nearby bushes after the violent crash.
Emergency crews used chainsaws to cut tree branches in order to reach the SUV and extract the driver.
The driver, who was not identified, was taken to Santa Barbara Cottage Hospital with minor injuries.
Multiple fire and police units were on scene and a portion of the road was closed as crews worked on the crash.
