Bicycle and Pedestrian Master Plan: Survey Being Rolled Out In Goleta

Goleta residents are being asked to fill out a survey that will pave the way for a Bicycle and Pedestrian Master Plan.

The survey will be used as a guide to make routes for cycling and walking to schools and other destinations as safe as can be.

City leaders said a grant to pay for the survey was awarded before serious accidents in the area.

Workshops will be held next month to encourage community input that will be presented along with survey results to the Goleta City Council in May.
