Semi-truck collides with tree in Oxnard

Around 2:37 p.m. Wednesday Oxnard Police officers responded to a collision in the area of Oxnard Boulevard and Fourth Street. Officers discovered that commercial truck collided with a large tree.

This caused branches to fall onto the roadway. All southbound lanes of Oxnard Boulevard between Fourth Street and Fifth Street were closed while the Oxnard Streets Department removes debris from the roadway.

Oxnard Police Traffic Unit was on scene assisting with traffic control.

All lanes are open for traffic flow as of 6:20 p.m.
