Woman suffers “serious” injuries in early morning stabbing in Santa Maria
A Santa Maria woman is being treated at the hospital for what police are calling serious stab wounds.
Lt. Schneider with the Santa Maria Police Department says the woman, who was not identified, was stabbed at 5:31 a.m. Monday.
The incident occurred near the area of Professional Parkway and McCoy Lane in the city of Santa Maria.
The woman was taken to Marian Regional Medical Center for treatment. Her condition is unknown at this time.
Authorities say there are currently no suspects in custody.
