An outpouring of support for Ventura County Firefighter

38-year-old Ryan Osler and a fellow firefighter were on their way to the Canyon Fire on Wednesday morning when their water tanker lost control at a roundabout in Lompoc.

Since then, law enforcement and fire agencies uploaded posts on social media extending their support for Osler, his family and friends.

Osler was a fire engineer for the Ventura County Fire Department. He served the community for the last 18 years.

Osler is survived by his wife and two children.
