Homicide investigation underway in Ventura

A homicide investigation is currently underway in Ventura.

Police say a man was found in his vehicle just before 2 a.m. Monday in the 2300 block of Alameda Avenue off Victoria.

The man was discovered with several gunshot wounds. He was transported to Ventura County Medical Center where he was pronounced dead.
