UC Santa Barbara Students Move-In Weekend

Thousands of students are moving into to dorms on the campus of UC Santa Barbara and Isla Vista this weekend.

They are getting settled in ahead of the start of the Fall Quarter at UCSB.

Campus residence halls opened on September 17th and 18th.

All students have until Thursday to check in, or they will be considered late.

On Saturday, streets surrounding the campus were packed with cars as parents, and friends dropped students off at their new homes.

The university will welcome freshman and transfer students with a formal ceremony on Monday.

Classes start on Thursday.
