Wheelchair vs. Car Accident in Santa Barbara

Santa Barbara Police are on the scene of a car vs. wheelchair accident.

It happened on Meigs Road and Cliff Drive at around 7:30 Thursday morning. The wheelchair was reportedly under the vehicle. The wheelchair victim has been transported to the hospital with minor injuries.

Traffic was being affected in that area, but has now opened up.

Police said the wheelchair operator went against the light when the motorist struck the victim.
