Wheelchair vs. Car Accident in Santa Barbara
Santa Barbara police and paramedics raced to the scene of a car vs. wheelchair accident.
It happened on Meigs Road and Cliff Drive at about 7:30 Thursday morning. The wheelchair was reportedly under the vehicle.
The wheelchair victim was transported to the hospital with minor injuries. Traffic was being affected in that area for some time but crews eventually cleared the scene.
Police said the wheelchair operator went against the light when the motorist struck the victim.
