Pedestrian Killed in Deadly Santa Maria Hit-and-Run

Santa Maria Police officers are investigating a deadly hit and run.

The incident happened Thursday around 5:45 a.m. at the intersection of Orchard and Broadway.

Police discovered a person was hit by a white, mid-sized SUV as the car crossed Broadway. Witness saw the car drive away from the scene of the crash.

Officials said this white SUV may have front end damage.
