Can You Identify These Two Alleged Thieves?

The Ventura County Sheriff’s Office is asking for the public’s help to identify two women who allegedly broke into a vehicle and then used the victim’s credit card.

It happened about 12:45 p.m. on August 9th, but investigators are just now releasing photos of the suspects and their vehicle.

The victims parked their vehicle in the area near Matilija Canyon Road and Highway 33. They locked the vehicle and went hiking for a few hours. They returned to discover someone had smashed out one of the windows and stolen a purse that contained credit cards.

Later that same day, the victim’s credit card was used at a Walmart Store in Ventura. Investigators obtained video allegedly showing two women using the stolen credit card and leaving in a white Ford F-150 pickup truck.
