Sunday will mark the 15th anniversary of 9/11. Oxnard High School had a special ceremony to honor the victims on Friday.

About 100 students came out to the event, to reflect on the events of 911, as the 15th anniversary approaches.

Oxnard High School is making a point to remember what happened on September 11th of 2001. For high school students many of them were not even born or were just a toddler when the Twin Towers and Pentagon were attacked 15 years ago.

The anniversary was recognized by students, school leaders, and the school’s air force junior ROTC students. The event concluded with an Oxnard student playing Taps on his trumpet.
