Museum of Ventura County changes lead to temporary closure in Ventura

Visitors to the Museum of Ventura County will have to return next year.
The Museum on East Main St. In Ventura closed last week to reorganize, but plans are in the works to open in the new year.

The closure will allow time for changes to offices and galleries.

A fundraising drive will also be launched.

The research library, pavillion and plaza are not impacted by the closure.
