Two Dead in Fatal Head-on Crash Near Lompoc
Two people are dead after two passenger cars crashed head-on near the area of Santa Lucia Canyon Road and Klein Boulevard just north of Lompoc Sunday afternoon.
Two other people received minor injuries in the collision, which occurred shortly after 12 p.m. One person was taken to Marian Regional Medical Center and the other to Lompoc Valley Medical Center.
The two fatalities will not be identified until their families have been notified. They were pronounced dead on scene.
CHP described the vehicles involved as a white Dodge Challenger, and a teal-colored Honda Accord.
No other details were immediately known. The cause of the collision is under investigation by the CHP.
